On November 24, over 100 student members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Youth League from three top Chinese universities—Renmin University of China (RUC), Tsinghua University, and Peking University (PKU)—gathered at the China National Film Museum for a joint educational event. Specifically organized by the student branches from RUC’s School of Finance, Tsinghua’s School of Economics and Management, and PKU’s School of Economics, the event was themed "Honoring Our Original Aspirations Through Film, Celebrating the Nation's Anniversary." It provided an opportunity for the youth to explore the history and development of China's film industry, fostering patriotism and inspiring future endeavors.

Upon arrival, the students visited a special digital exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Through classic domestic films such as The Founding of a Ceremony and My People, My Country, the exhibition illustrated the nation's historical journey. Divided into chronological themes—ranging from the revolutionary era and the early construction of the new nation to the modern era of development—the exhibit visually showcased the country's profound transformation over the decades.

Guided by museum staff, the students then enjoyed an immersive tour of several exhibition halls, including "The Invention of Cinema," "The Birth and Early Development of Chinese Film," and "Chinese Film During the New Era of Reform and Opening-Up." The students attentively examined the exhibits, gaining a deeper understanding of the century-long history of Chinese cinema, the contributions of iconic Chinese filmmakers, and the lively practices of the country's cultural development in the film sector.

After the tour, the students held a group discussion focusing on the guiding principles of the recent Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Xu Yize, a student branch secretary, led a study session on China's new strategies for comprehensive reform, emphasizing the importance of combining theoretical knowledge with practical action for personal growth. Du Haoze, a deputy secretary, shared his reflections, expressing his commitment to translating his learning into real-world contributions. Zhao Fangyu, a Youth League branch secretary, noted that the joint activity deepened her understanding of political theories, strengthened her sense of social responsibility, and reinforced her dedication to serving the public.
