On December 13, Zheng Xinye, Vice president of Renmin University of China, met with Ye MAO, a tenured professor of Cornell University and a 1999 master of the School of Finance and Finance.

Vice President Zheng Xinye welcomed the visit of Ye MAO alumni and thanked him for his continued attention and support to the University. He briefly introduced the recent development of the university, especially the new progress in the construction of the new campus, the construction of the teaching staff, and the construction of teaching and research infrastructure. He pointed out that in the face of a complex external environment, RUC is facing new opportunities and challenges, and the university is committed to improving the level of academic research and the quality of talent training to cope with the rapidly changing global challenges. He stressed that the sustainable development of the university cannot be separated from the support and contribution of alumni, and hoped that Ye MAO alumni will continue to care about, support and participate in the construction and development of the university, make more contributions to the university, and jointly promote Renmin University of China to a more brilliant future.

Ye MAO alumni are very grateful for the education and training of their Alma mater and feel sincere joy for the achievements of their Alma mater. He shared his experience and insights on humanities and social sciences, international exchanges and other fields, and combined with his study and job search experience, he suggested that the school pay more attention to the cultivation of students' global vision, cross-cultural communication and interdisciplinary knowledge integration ability, hoping that the school can cultivate more outstanding talents who can participate in international competition.
