摘要：Since the tax-sharing reform in 1994, the Chinese fiscal system has exhibited significant expenditure decentralization and revenue recentralization at the local levels. Using a large fiscal dataset at the county level from 1998 to 2006, this paper studies the effects of fiscal decentralization on local economic growth in general. Moreover, we examine how China’s current fiscal regime influences the industrial structure of the local economy through incentivized government behavior.
报告人简介：张静，中国人民大学讲师，2011年在美国马里兰大学获得博士学位，曾在世界银行华盛顿总部担任顾问。从事公共财政、环境和卫生经济学方面的研究。已经在国际学术期刊上发表过多篇文章，其中包括Journal of Health Economic; China Economic Review; International Journal of Healthcare Finance and Economics等。
